How to Make a Comeback in Life: An Overview [Part 1]

Bouncing back at any stage of life can never be easy. The popping eyes around make the process a target of uncalled murmurs. These sudden hiccups throw us off the track and make things look blurry at all corners.


Embrace a comeback with renewed resilience can bring freshness in taking new steps. Our life is full of challenges, some twists are chosen while the turns unseen can defeat the purpose. You might have failed an exam, lost a job or loved one, had personal issues, been unable to focus, etc. Any reason is enough for one to go off-track.


Off-track?

It is the push on the other side, but not by choice. We need to remember, ‘A person grows in ways different when he walks the path difficult to shine in new ways.’ Our experiences are only ours. No one can understand what we go through and face in daily life.  


For this, Acceptance is important. It does not come easy, it will sink in gradually and add the turmoil of emotions with new a flavor. This recoup from it is not a straight path but another level of growth.


For Example: If you haven’t worked for a few years or ever, you need to understand your desire to step into unknown territory. Even if it is unknown and scary, a step towards it shall make it simpler. Setting a goal can be heavy, just start with a purpose, add the spark of need, and walk with the best smile. The new space can only be new for a few days.


‘Anything new has to become old someday’. Decisions taken in these circumstances can be momentary. No regrets are the policy. What happens is not 100% in your hand. What can happen is partly in your mind and control. Just move with the pace and allow yourself to feel different. Even if you decide to not pursue it. Remember it is ok.

Take time.


Break!

Take your own time to evaluate the situation. If you have stopped walking, then time has halted for you. You may continue the everyday routine but in reality, your inner thoughts are turmoiled in open site. A break is not necessarily the same for all, it can be defined as per your situation.


For Example: if you fail a test, redo it only when you are interested in it. Do not force-feed your mind to other's needs. Choose something that elates your senses and tests won’t seem like an exam but a learning mode for the next step on the upward ladder to happiness.


This is the time to think in the direction of clarity. Why this happened? How could this happen to me? All these should be unloaded, to clear your mind. Talk about it, write it, your mind is living the trauma in repeat mode. A break is only good till it does not hamper your mental health. The stop button is the power you have within. If you are not strong enough to use it, take help to know yourself as this person in distress.

A break is for the mind to restart again for good times.’


Heal

Healing is an ongoing process, it can be done by learning, reframing the mind, etc. To heal is not a defined page, either you create a new path or follow one created for you.


For Example: After losing someone, it can take time to see things in normal ways. It is important to have good ears to help you, with therapy or acceptance. Nothing happens in a day or as per your previous thoughts.


To heal is not a job, you can focus on something that keeps you going. Forgotten passions can bring back the urge to move on. Find the simplest of things to do.


For Example: If you enjoy cooking, start a channel to show your talent and learn the digital process on the way. If you want to learn new things, join offline or online courses to guide you in this ever-changing world. If you like tailoring or want to become a make-up artist just do it. Any work is work to keep the mind rolling.


You need to see the challenge with a new perspective of inner growth. Mirror your thoughts to feel the reflection of your mind games.

‘Past affects the present till we allow it to do so.’ Use the ‘Pain as power’ and see the realistic change.

Money

This can be a major factor in your decisions. One’s passion can fill the gaps to heal the pain whilst money can curve the pressure in a direction unseen. Sometimes risk is a good choice, but it all depends on the circumstances. It is important to play smart & safe.


Evaluate the situation, if unsure, choose a balance of Money & passion. It shall allow you the much-needed space to see the idea.  It can be the confidence fuel booster you need in the present scenario. Do not underestimate your inner strength. Set small goals like daily, weekly, and slowly hop to monthly.


‘Hush is not the push’. Actionable & Manageable goals are for you to understand your strengths. Each one shall have an impact on you. Put your energy into analyzing the best in all.

Keep the subject of expectation at bay. Just be sure if this is making you happy. If yes, your goals are for your good. If not sure or No, then you can tune them as per the range of your needs.

 

Time

Focus can lead to a major change in time management. Not all days are the same. The ups, the curves, the huffs, the puffs, all add to the interesting story in your life book. When following your heart, time seems to fly with smiles on your side.


Be compassionate towards yourself in setting time. Time management is a big word, do not focus on a fixed schedule, take help, and do what you think is needed. Health is the first important factor to deal with. Do not let anything get your attention.


'Setbacks are natural but not easy.’ Love & forgive yourself and let that be the way you take things. Unload the burden and again move to cultivate the best feelings within.

Resilience

Resilience shall unlock the clogged expressions. Foster your mind with a change in lifestyle habits, embracing your current scene, practicing self-care, and most importantly ignoring unseeded opinions.


Being committed to your journey is the inner strength of passion. Others shall talk even after you have walked the path of choice. People who care shall stay under all circumstances, if not, let go of the burdened emotions. Give space to the choke in your life.

 

Comeback – A growth, A career, A phase

A comeback is nothing but a continual of life, after a major pause. It is a reminder that ‘The lesson is learned now, I shall again burn’. Fear is the major factor in letting one down. Failure is not the opposite of success, it is the part of success. Without failing, no one can learn anything.

Experiences are not served on a gold platter, they come at the best time to nudge your still mind. Withering through different seasons, we learn to embrace Life with a new set of eyes.


A comeback should be done for oneself. Create a list of activities, Do them all. It is important to understand that age can change the way we do things. Our 20s or 30s may not fit in the 40s in the same manner but with a different style. A new career, a new lesson, a new path, all are achievable, with passion and focus. Nothing is served but ordered as per your taste.


Real comebacks reveal a new beginning. Proactive steps can define the freshness and allow you to re-discover yourself in ways unknown to you. The major elements are looking forward to the adjustments made in the background.

 

Never stop hustling to keep your mind sharp, the day shall come when you will say, what is next? Do not erase the past, walk ahead with it wiser, stronger, and more resilient. This is a new graph in your life, creating a story of determination, and perseverance with an added smile.
